I joined the Christchurch Tramping Club at the start of 2019 and became a trip leader later that year. Between 2020 and 2022, I served as a general committee member, and in 2024, I returned to take on the role of Club Captain. Who knows what else the future holds.
I primarily lead day moderate trips that venture above the bushline, but in case of sub-optimal weather, I’m happy to stick to Port Hills. Multi-day trips are typically reserved for quality time with my family or doing track work on the West Coast. Since 2023, I’ve also been organising trips tailored for kids.
