This is becoming Elliot’s (my 4-year-old) classic: the Pipeline and down to Lyttelton Market via the Bridle Path. The upper parts of the Pipeline are a really nice scramble for kiddos, and a fun run down the hill with some possible treats at the market. This time, three families joined us. Elliot decided to go ahead today, and we actually didn’t see much of him for the whole walk. I need to choose another walk next time where he doesn’t know the route – he knows how to get to Lyttelton way too well now and wants to show everyone.
Once we finally reached the top of the Pipeline, we took a wee break and rolled down the Bridle Path (some kids literally). There was an epically huge cargo ship in Lyttelton that provided a lot of entertainment for our little ones. The walk finished with an apple pie at the market and a bus ride through the tunnel back to our cars.

Participants: Michal Klajban (leader, scribe, GPX), Lilly Mulholland and a daughter, Dominique Schacherer and kids
